Medical Pedicures
At Martini Spa, our Medical Pedicures are performed by Licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) who are also certified Nail Technicians. This dual licensure ensures that your foot care is not only aesthetic but also medically safe—especially important for individuals at higher risk of infections or complications.
Unlike standard nail technicians, whose education typically spans about 6 months, Registered Nurses undergo years of advanced medical training. This includes strict protocols for infection control, sterilization, and safe care practices, which are especially vital for clients with diabetes, poor circulation, or compromised immunity.
Medical pedicures are best performed in settings where medical oversight is present—such as podiatry clinics or medical spas owned or supervised by healthcare professionals. These environments follow medical-grade sterilization processes and infection control standards to protect your health.
